Volunteers

The Teens and Caring Kids Club is for kids who want to volunteer at our therapeutic riding center, special events, and participate in philanthropy. While assisting with various activities, the TACK kids develop a valuable work ethic, discover the joys of philanthropy, and develop values of tolerance, acceptance,& understanding. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed. However, volunteers under 14 years of age must be accompanied or paired with an adult volunteer. Earn credit while participating and enjoy great volunteer rewards! Call 407-933-RIDE to sign up for a Volunteer Training Class. Learn more about our TACK Club volunteer opportunities below.

There are three areas where a tack club member may choose to participate:

  1. Volunteering at the Heavenly Hoofs Stable at Osceola Heritage Park. Duties may include caring for horses and stable, assisting riders during lessons, or other administrative tasks.
  2. Volunteering at one of our special events. Duties may include helping set up tables/decor etc., welcoming guests to event, or overseeing certain activities.
  3. Initiating or participating in a fundraiser at the student’s local school that will benefit Heavenly Hoofs. This may include selling candy, pictures in horseshoe frames, or other creative ideas a TACK Club member may have.

To become a TACK Club member, please email or call 407-933-RIDE for more information.

We are currently developing TACK Club chapters within each Osceola County School. If you would like to learn more about founding a TACK Club chapter for your school, please email us.
