North American Riding for the Handicapped Association NARHA is proud to provide opportunities for people with varying ability levels to challenge themselves physically and emotionally and to set goals to improve their quality of life via the horse. Training professionals to support and facilitate this process, educating the public about the positive impact of the human/animal bond and setting national standards for safe and effective equine facilitated therapy/ activities will continue to dictate our growth. (www.narha.org) Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life- threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW provides accommodations at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a week-long, cost-free fantasy vacation. With the help of many generous individuals, corporations and partnering wish-granting organizations, Give Kids The World has welcomed more than 75,000 families from all 50 states and over 50 countries. (www.gktw.org) The Foundation for Osceola Education The purpose of the Education Foundation is to assist The School District of Osceola County in continuing its tradition of excellence in educating students in Osceola County. The Foundation provides scholarships to graduating Osceola County Students, classroom enhancement programs, scholarships for adults wishing to enter the field of education, and recognition of our community's dedicated educators. In addition to providing the core services of registrations and transfers, we will unveil new programs designed to enhance your involvement with your American Quarter Horses and give you more for your membership dollar. (www.aqha.com) Florida Quarter Horse Association The Florida Quarter Horse Association, incorporated on September 13, 1945, is a non-profit organization of people, firms and corporations engaged in the cooperative activity of owning pure-bred American Quarter Horses, bettering existing types and strains of such horses, promoting the breeding of such horses, procuring desirable publicity for and holding or fostering shows and sales featuring American Quarter Horses. In general, FQHA promotes cooperation among breeders and owners of American Quarter Horses.
